Amazing Tibet

Me speaks good Engrish!

He used to ride in these as well at ceremonies.

This is what the Dalai Lama used to ride in. Was allowed to take photos inside but we did anyway! Got told off by a monk!

Local workers at the Palace on the rooftop. They were all singing and dancing in unison whilst working. It was amazing. We were wondering where the banging and all the noise was coming from!

The pretty Palace once again

Beautiful archway at the Summer Palace.

The Norbulinka Palace. This was the Dalai Lama's Summer Palace. It is absolutely beautiful. Has a very positive energy here. This is where the Dalai Lama last stayed before he escaped to India.

My Tibetan kids!

My new Tibetan friend and Scottish Jane from my tour. She was lovely. She had the flu like me our whole Tibetan trip, so we were sick as dogs together.

Picture Perfect!

More beautiful things. Meat on the street! I think I just became vegetarian!

I think that's some beautiful Australian supermodel that was also in Tibet!

Me and the mountains. Everytime me left a hostel, the Tibetans give you a white prayer shawl to wish you safe travels. I ended up with about 10 of them!

The famous Jokhang temple in Lhasa. People pray in front of it as you can see. The Tibetans actually kneel first, then lie down on their stomachs and stand back up again when they pray.

Some Tibetan teenagers. Lots of people wear faces masks in Tibet because of the horrible dust.

The balcony where the Dalai Lama used to spy on people with his telescope as he was not allowed direct contact with the public (may have seen it in the movie Seven Years in Tibet).

A happy monk.

Beautiful Lhasa!

The Potala Palace (where the Dalai Lama used to live).

Looks just like a postcard. Sorry, lots of the same pics but I love this scenery. Breathtaking! Mount Everest is in the background somewhere.

This is the local square which hanging prayer flags. The prayer flags are everywhere in Tibet.
Local Tibet people doing a pilgrimage around the local sqaure in Lhasa (the capital). The elderly lady is holding a famous Tibetan prayer wheel. People swing those and pray to Buddha.

Tibetans on a raft made out of leather. Heaven on Earth!
Most beautiful landscape I have seen out of all the places I've been too.
